USPG Supports St Stephen's Hospital, Delhi

First published on: 6th May 2021

USPG is funding the purchase of an intensive care ventilator, three medical monitors and two BiPAP machines for St Stephen’s Hospital in Delhi. This equipment is a vital contribution to the work of the hospital, enabling their Intensive Care Unit to provide enhanced treatment for Covid-19 patients. USPG’s support comes in response to a request for medical equipment from our longstanding partners in the Church of North India, who administer St Stephen’s Hospital.

The Rev’d Davidson Solanki, USPG Regional Manager for Asia and the Middle East, said: “India is going through an unprecedented time due to the devastating impact of the second wave of Covid-19. There have been 20 million infections and over 225,000 deaths. Churches have been severely affected. Nevertheless, they are responding to the crisis through their medical institutions. USPG is standing alongside our church partners through prayers and financial support. Through USPG engagement, St Stephen’s Hospital in Delhi is providing care and comfort to patients in critical situations”.
