Members of General Synod each received a copy of USPG’s new booklet Open to Encounter and were also invited to take part at the USPG General Synod Fringe Event to consider how the churches in the Anglican Communion can learn from each other and be enriched as they seek to proclaim a bold, joyful and confident faith.
The breakfast fringe event was well attended and a lively and engaging discussion followed the presentations by The Most Revd Dr Prem Chand Singh, the Moderator of Church of North India & Bishop of Jabalpur, The Right Revd Marinez Bassotto, the first woman Bishop of the Diocese of the Amazon, The Rt Revd Christopher Lowson, Bishop of Lincoln and Revd Duncan Dormor, General Secretary of USPG.
