Recent Staff Updates at USPG

First published on: 25th April 2023

We are thrilled that our core team is expanding and evolving so that we may continue our work collaborating with churches around the Anglican Communion in rethinking mission, energising church, and championing justice. We wanted to let you know about some interesting new staff developments at USPG.

Atim Henshaw joins us as our Director of Communications, Engagement and Fundraising. She holds an MBA from Brunel University and has ten years of experience in the INGO sector working in organisations such as World Vision International, Christian Aid and Street Child in their communications, fundraising and marketing teams. In her role for USPG, she is part of the SLT and will be leading a team of seven. She will be providing her skills and knowledge to raise the profile of USPG and ensure our communications, engagement and fundraising are strategically aligned.

The Rev’d Dr Peniel Rajkumar previously USPG’s Head of Theology has now taken up a new role for USPG and is our Theologian and Director of Global Mission. He will be part of the SLT and leading the Global Mission team of eight whilst still pioneering our theological engagement with the world Church.

Dr Paulo Ueti joins us on a part-time basis as Regional Manager of Latin America and the Caribbean.

Rebecca Boardman USPG’s former Regional Manager of East Asia, Oceania and Europe, has been appointed in a newly created role as Operations Manager for Global Mission.

Rachael Anderson has joined us as Communications Manager.

Zoey Smith started as Executive Assistant in January on a temporary contract, and we are delighted that she has recently accepted the role permanently.

Rachel Weller has taken up the post of Digital Communications Officer.

Venetia Asare has recently started as Regional Programme Coordinator for Africa and the Americas.
