Leave a legacy
Share God’s love through your will

Leaving a gift in your will is not just about money, it’s about hope, partnership and faith in action. By including USPG in your will, you give future generations of the global Anglican Church the chance to flourish. Your legacy becomes a vibrant expression of love, justice and renewal.
Why it matters
Worth over £4 billion annually in the UK alone, legacy giving is one of the most powerful ways to sustain the charity sector and enable mission that lasts. At USPG those gifts translate into theological training, community health programmes, education, disaster response and climate justice work with our partners around the world.
A gift today helps someone tomorrow in a place you may never visit, but whose future you help shape.
Rooted in faith, lived in mission
As an Anglican mission agency, USPG believes that every legacy is part of a faithful story, a story that connects you to communities in Africa, Asia, the Pacific and beyond. The Bible calls us to lay up treasures in heaven, “where neither moth nor rust destroys” (Matthew 6:20).
By leaving a legacy, you affirm that faith doesn’t end with our lifetime, it travels on in service, in hope, in love.
Your gift becomes a lasting fruit of your faith; a signal that the gospel continues to shape lives long after we’re gone.
How it works

Leaving a legacy is my thanksgiving offering for all God has provided throughout my life. I have so much to be grateful for and I wanted to show my gratitude through this gift that will keep giving to people in need. I am very proud of USPG and would like to know that the organisation will continue serving the world community for many years.

USPG is proud to be a member of Remember A Charity, a UK-wide campaign that brings together over 200 charities to raise awareness about the importance and impact of leaving gifts in wills. By joining this network, USPG is strengthening its commitment to legacy giving as a vital way to support our long-term mission and ministry.
Remember A Charity helps us to reach more supporters with clear, accessible information about how they can include a gift to USPG in their will — ensuring that their values live on and that the global church continues to flourish for generations to come.
Whether your gift is large or small, it makes a difference. Every gift plants hope.

Together, let’s plant seeds of possibility and watch them grow for generations.
A Brighter Future for Sri Lanka’s Tea Communities
You can inspire the next generation to create the future they want – for themselves, their families and their communities.
Legacy gifts enable our partners to fund long-term development programmes, such as The Plantation Community Development Programme from The Church of Ceylon, Diocese of Colombo. Their vital work with women and children from the tea plantation communities in Sri Lanka transforms lives and lifts people out of poverty.
Many people living and working in Sri Lanka’s tea plantations have endured years of isolation from Sri Lankan society. This has led to poor living conditions for families, limited medical care and a lack of education for children.
The Plantation Community Development programme provides education for children, including preschools, non-formal education classes, seminars and scholarships for government exams as well as for A Level and University students. The programme also offers medical support to pregnant mothers and advocates for the human rights of the tea plantation communities including improved living conditions.
By enabling children to access education and learn about their rights, your legacy can be their future.
