Europe
From Northern Scotland to central Romania, this region covers our partnership work with churches and ecumenical organisations all around Britain & Ireland and continental Europe.
HIGHLIGHTS
Rethinking Mission Conference
We host an annual conference in the UK with challenging and fresh perspectives to a particular aspect of mission. Past conferences have included ‘Mission as Solidarity’, ‘Keeping Faith In Science’, and ‘Remembering History (Legacies Of Slavery)’.
Past, Present, Future
We engage with clergy and lay people within parishes in the UK and the Diocese in Europe to think critically about racial justice and the history of missionary Anglicanism.
Calais Refugee Projects
In collaboration with the Diocese of Canterbury and the Diocese in Europe, we work to relieve humanitarian needs, strengthen advocacy and support ecumenical relations in the coastal area of Calais-Dunkirk.
USPG IN EUROPE
We love to see UK churches widen their perspective and appreciate the global body of Christ that they belong to. As part of this, we work in close collaboration with the Diocese in Europe, the largest Diocese in the Church of England by geography, giving particular focus to projects that support the settlement of refugees and asylum-seekers.
