Doeddwn i ddim yn disgwyl i ddarlith orffen mewn dagrau. Wedi’r cyfan, dim ond darlith ar y Cymundeb Anglicanaidd ydoedd. O’r sleidiau PowerPoint, fe wnaeth llun achosi i’m llygaid wella. Nid yn ddieithr i’r darlithydd, wynebau aelodau Undeb y Mamau yn y llun, nid gr\u0175p ar hap o ferched o Simbabwe yn unig oedd y rhain. Yn lle hynny, roedden nhw’n ferched roeddwn i’n eu hadnabod wrth eu henwau. Maent yn fenywod y mae eu bywydau a’u ffydd ar waith yn llywio stori fy mywyd ac mae atgofion byw o fy mhrofiadau gyda nhw wedi gorlifo fy meddwl. Ar Ddiwrnod Rhyngwladol y Menywod, roedd yn ymddangos yn briodol fy mod yn dathlu’r diwrnod hwn a mis cyfan Menywod (Mawrth) trwy goff\u00e1u’r arwresau di-glod yn fy mywyd ac efallai gwahodd pawb i ymuno trwy ddathlu eu harwyr di-glod hefyd. Yr hyn sy’n gwneud y menywod a oedd yn fy amgylchynu yn tyfu i fyny i fod yn arwyr yw’r ffaith eu bod yn herio’r ods a gafodd eu pentyrru’n drwm yn eu herbyn mewn system a oedd yn gormesu menywod. Roedd y gr\u0175p hwn o fenywod gan gynnwys gweddwon ifanc yn sefyll i fyny drostynt eu hunain a’u plant. Roedden nhw’n gweithio ddydd a nos gan ddefnyddio eu rhoddion Duw mewn gwn\u00efo, gwau a garddio i ddarparu ar gyfer eu plant. Rhoddodd gweddwon gyngor cyfreithiol i’w gilydd o’u profiadau o ymladd system a oedd yn tynnu hawliau etifeddiant oddi wrth fenywod a phlant merched. Roedd rhai yn aberthu eu hawydd i briodi eto, felly ni fyddent yn esgeuluso ac yn gadael ar \u00f4l eu plant pan symudon nhw i mewn gyda gw\u0177r newydd ar \u00f4l priodi. Mewn cymdeithas lle diffiniwyd urddas gan statws priodasol, safodd y gweddwon a’r menywod sydd wedi ysgaru mewn undod \u00e2’i gilydd, gan roi cefnogaeth i’w gilydd yn gorfforol, yn emosiynol ac mewn gweddi. Yn achos marwolaeth cyd-weddw, daethant yn famau i’r plant amddifad. Dysgon nhw ferched ifanc i garu a bod yn falch o bwy oedden nhw. Nid fel dinasyddion eilradd, ond fel plant annwyl Duw, wedi’u gwneud yn ofnus ac yn rhyfeddol. Wrth gwrs, mae’n mynd heb ddweud bod yna adegau pan arweiniodd rhai o’r dysgeidiaethau a’r meithrin perthynas amhriodol at ffactorau cynhenid negyddol fel clecs. Lle bynnag mae gobaith a chynnydd yn bodoli, nid yw gwrthdynwyr yn bell i ffwrdd. Roedd gan hynny’r potensial i dorri’r rheiny ar ben anghywir y ffon honno a’u siglo oddi ar y llwybr cadarnhaol yr oeddent arno. Fodd bynnag, trodd y rhai ffodus y clecs yn gymhelliant i fod yn bobl well. Roedd rhai yn gorchfygu tra bod rhai yn methu. Rwy’n siarad am r\u00f4l a chyfraniad menywod yn \u00f4l bryd hynny mewn cymdeithas anghyfiawn fel petai’n rhywbeth o’r gorffennol. Mae rhywfaint o gynnydd wedi’i wneud o ran creu cyfle cyfartal i ddynion a menywod yn y gwaith ac yn y weinidogaeth. Cymerwyd camau i gywiro’r anghyfiawnder ynghylch etifeddiaeth a gwahaniaethu ar sail rhywedd. Er gwaethaf hynny, mae llawer o waith i’w wneud o hyd. Ym mis Mawrth, rydym yn dathlu’r menywod y mae eu gwaith yn cael ei gydnabod yn rhyngwladol.
