Wrth i ni hwylio i mewn i 2022, mae’n anodd peidio \u00e2 chael eich hudo gan ymdeimlad o d\u00e9j\u00e0 vu. Ar \u00f4l cyrraedd ‘Omicron’, ydyn ni’n mynd o gwmpas y calendr yn dod ar draws tonnau newydd o Covid? Ers mis Mawrth 2020, bu awydd cyson i edrych ar yr hyn sy’n dod wedyn; Pan fyddwn ni’n-\u00f4l-bandemig. Mae’r awydd hwnnw i ddychwelyd i ‘normal’ yn amlwg. Efallai mai’r enghraifft gliriaf o’r ‘hen normal’ hon yw’r gwyliau ‘yn yr haul’, y dihangfa oddi wrthym ein hunain, ein harferion beunyddiol, y clociau oer hyn. Eto, gwyddom fod teithio awyr yn arbennig o niweidiol i’r hinsawdd. Rydym hefyd yn gwybod hynny. Wrth i ni deithio i un cyfeiriad uwchben y cymylau, mae eraill, ymhell islaw, sydd wedi cychwyn ar deithiau peryglus yn dod y ffordd arall, wedi’u cymell gan awydd i ddod o hyd i gartref newydd a pharhaol. Mae’r byd yn lle hynod anghyfartal – ac mae hynny’n ymestyn i ddosbarthu brechlynnau. Nid ydym wedi ‘dianc’ y pandemig trwy wyddoniaeth a thechnoleg, trwy gyflwyno’r brechlyn, oherwydd mewn gwirionedd, nid oes dianc nes bod brechlynnau ar gael i bawb. Mae olyniaeth amrywiolion Covid yn dweud rhywbeth pwysig iawn wrthym – fydd y pandemig ddim ‘ar ben’ nes bod pawb yn cael eu hamddiffyn rhag y feirws. Y methiant i feddwl a gweithredu’n fyd-eang yw’r union beth sy’n ein hatal rhag symud y tu hwnt i’r argyfwng presennol. Nid yw ‘\u00f4l-bandemig’ yn iaith ddefnyddiol iawn, gan ein bod bellach mewn Oes o Covid. Nid yw’r ‘Oedran’ hwn yn ymwneud \u00e2 firws yn unig, ond am natur gydgysylltiedig yr heriau sy’n wynebu ein byd: newidiadau amgylcheddol cyflym sy’n dinistrio bywoliaethau, prinder bwyd a d\u0175r, symudiadau pobl a chynnydd gwrthdaro. Mae’r flwyddyn newydd yn dod \u00e2 thymor Epiphani i ni, pan fydd Cristnogion yn myfyrio ar Grist yn dod fel goleuni i’r cenhedloedd, golau sy’n ymestyn y tu hwnt i raniadau tywyll dynoliaeth. Mae’n dymor gyda gweledigaeth radical ar gyfer y ‘normau a’r syniadau’ sy’n treiddio i gymdeithas, wrth i Epiphany siarad \u00e2’r cyffredinol, o ac i’r holl genhedloedd a’r holl bobloedd. Yn y tymor hwn, rydym yn defnyddio’r delweddau o dd\u0175r a golau, sydd yn eu gwahanol ffyrdd yn dod \u00e2 thonnau o luniaeth a doethineb i’n profiad fel bodau dynol; sy’n s\u00f4n am berthynas newydd, am dorri i mewn i hanes gweledigaeth o obaith ac adnewyddiad, lle gwelwn ein hunain o’r newydd, ochr yn ochr \u00e2’n chwiorydd a’n brodyr, fel y gwnaed ar ddelw Duw. Etifeddodd heriau ystwyll syniadau, yr hen normau, a dychwelyd i’r hyn a fu. Mae’n siarad yn hytrach na’r hyn a allai fod. Efallai ein bod ni i gyd yn dyheu am fod yn ‘\u00f4l-bandemig’, ond mae’n bosibl y byddwn ond yn cyrraedd yno os cawn ein hadnewyddu fel pobl, fel cymdogion byd-eang sy’n gofalu am bawb. <\/p>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n<\/section>\n
