Rhwng 29 Ebrill a 2 Mai, ymgasglodd arweinwyr eglwysi, partneriaid cenhadaeth, a chynrychiolwyr esgobaethol yn Nh\u0177 Luther King ym Manceinion ar gyfer Fforwm De Asia 2025. Roedd thema eleni, “Nicene Creed: We Believe – One in Faith, One in Hope, One in Love,” yn nodi 1700 mlynedd ers Cyngor Nicaea, eiliad i ddathlu’r gred a rennir a’r sylfaen ddiwinyddol sy’n parhau i uno’r eglwys fyd-eang. Cynrychiolwyd USPG, asiantaeth bartner allweddol, gan y Parchg Davidson Solanki a Nadia Sanchez o’r T\u00eem Cenhadaeth Fyd-eang. <\/p>\n

Daeth y fforwm \u00e2 chynrychiolwyr o Eglwys Gogledd India, Eglwys De India, Eglwys Pacistan, ac Eglwys Bangladesh at ei gilydd, ochr yn ochr ag asiantaethau cenhadol fel CMS, USPG, EMS, Kirk-in-Actie. Hefyd yn bresennol roedd partneriaid eglwysig fel yr Eglwys Fethodistaidd, Eglwys yr Alban a phartneriaid esgobaethol y DU fel yr Eglwys yng Nghymru, Esgobaeth Manceinion, Ely, cyswllt eciwmenaidd Swydd Gaergrawnt, ac Esgobaeth Rhydychen. <\/p>\n

Agorodd y cyfarfod gyda chroeso a phrif anerchiad gan y Gwir Barchedig Dr Matthew Porter, Esgob Bolton, a siaradodd am bwysigrwydd parhaol Credo Nicea a’i r\u00f4l wrth lunio hunaniaeth eciwmenaidd. Roedd cyfranogwyr yn cymryd rhan mewn gwrando dwfn a deialog onest ynghylch yr heriau a’r cyfleoedd o fyw ‘un ffydd’ mewn cyd-destunau amrywiol ac yn aml yn gymhleth. <\/p>\n

Roedd sesiynau trwy gydol yr wythnos yn canolbwyntio ar them\u00e2u ffydd, gobaith a chariad, gan gynnig lle ar gyfer myfyrio diwinyddol a thrafodaeth ymarferol. Rhannodd esgobion a chlerigwyr sut mae eu heglwysi yn cadw undod yng nghanol gwahaniaethau, ac roedd cynrychiolwyr o asiantaethau cenhadaeth yn myfyrio ar bartneriaeth a chefnogaeth. <\/p>\n

Ddydd Iau, symudodd y ffocws o wrando i weld. Ymwelodd y cyfranogwyr ag eglwysi allweddol yn yr ardal \u2013 gan gynnwys Holy Trinity Platt, St Ann’s, Eglwys Gadeiriol Manceinion, a’r Eglwys Ffabrig sydd newydd ei sefydlu \u2013 pob un yn cynnig cipolwg ar genhadaeth leol. <\/p>\n

Roedd paneli gyda’r nos a gwedd\u00efau yn darparu lle i ddadbacio a phrosesu bob dydd. Un uchafbwynt o’r fath oedd yr Ewcharist gloi, dan arweiniad y Gwir Barchedig Dr David Walker, Esgob Manceinion, a fyfyriodd ar r\u00f4l yr Ysbryd Gl\u00e2n yn ei fywyd a’i weinidogaeth ei hun. <\/p>\n

Roedd y fforwm wedi’i nodi gan gymrodoriaeth gynnes, dyfnder diwinyddol, ac ymdeimlad cryf o alwad a rennir. Diolch o galon i’r Esgob Matthew, y Parchg George Reeves, y Parchg Falak Sher, a th\u00eem Esgobaeth Manceinion am letygarwch rhagorol. <\/p>\n

Wrth i’r eglwys ledled y byd fyfyrio ar 1700 mlynedd o Gredo Nicene, mae Fforwm De Asia yn sefyll fel tyst bywiog i b\u0175er undod mewn ffydd a chenhadaeth. Mae’r eglwysi unedig yn Ne Asia yn sicr yn cynnig model pwerus o undod Cristnogol a chydweithredu sy’n dal gwersi gwerthfawr i’r Cymun Anglicanaidd ehangach. <\/p>\n
