Cynhaliwyd cynhadledd bersonol gyntaf Cymrodoriaeth Ysgolheigion Anglicanaidd Diwinyddiaeth (FeAST), ar thema ‘Diwinyddion Trawsffurfiol: Ailfeddwl Addysgeg, Praxis a Safbwyntiau,’ yn Colombo, Sri Lanka yn gynharach y mis hwn. Daeth \u00e2 30 o ysgolheigion ynghyd o bron i 20 o wledydd ar draws y Cymundeb Anglicanaidd mewn cymrodoriaeth, trafodaeth a myfyrdod beirniadol. <\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n

Gydag ystod mor eang o leisiau yn yr ystafell, roedd Cyfarwyddwr Cenhadaeth Fyd-eang USPG, y Parchedig Ganon Dr Peniel Rajkumar yn gobeithio “ailwehyddu’r mat” <\/span>diwinyddion Anglicanaidd. I’r perwyl hwn, <\/span> Cyflwynodd ysgolheigion safbwyntiau newydd ar amrywiaeth o bynciau, gan fynd i’r afael \u00e2 heriau byd-eang megis cymodi hiliol, cyfiawnder rhywedd, gwrth-fasnachu, a gweithredu yn yr hinsawdd. Trwy hyn, fe wnaethant dynnu sylw at r\u00f4l diwinyddiaeth \u2013 mewn theori ac yn ymarferol \u2013 wrth fynd i’r afael ag anghyfiawnderau systemig. <\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n

Dechreuodd y digwyddiad ddydd Sul gyda gwasanaeth Cymun yng Nghapel y Santes Fair,<\/span> wedi’u haddurno \u00e2 phaentiadau o olygfeydd Beiblaidd a ailddychmygwyd yn nyluniad Sri Lankan. Rydym yn hynod ddiolchgar i Esgobaeth Colombo, Eglwys Ceylon am eu lletygarwch cynnes a’u tyst beiddgar o’r ffydd Gristnogol yn erbyn cefndir diwylliannol a chrefyddol amrywiol. <\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n

Mae’r gwaith celf yn y capel yn darlunio golygfeydd Beiblaidd fel y Fenyw yn y Ffynnon (Ioan 4)<\/span><\/p>\n

“Mae hyn yn ein cartref bob dydd. Pan fyddaf yn cerdded allan y drws, rwy’n gwneud deialog a chyfeillgarwch rhyng-ffydd. Dyna pam mae wedi bod yn gynhadledd mor ymdrochol ac ymgorffo, llawer mwy felly na’r gynhadledd academaidd ar gyfartaledd!” rhannodd y Parchedig Luke Larner, offeiriad plwyf yn Luton, un o’r plwyfi amrywiol mwyaf ethnig a chrefyddol yn y DU.<\/span> <\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Ar \u00f4l diwrnod llawn o gyflwyniadau, ymwelodd cynrychiolwyr \u00e2 Choleg St Thomas, ysgol hanesyddol a sefydlwyd gyda chefnogaeth gan SPG, sydd bellach yn USPG. <\/span>Heddiw, mae’r ysgol yn gwasanaethu tua 3,000 o fyfyrwyr o’r dosbarth meithrin i Safon Uwch, gan gynnig hyfforddiant yn Sinhala, Tamil, a Saesneg. Dyma’r lleoliad perffaith i drafod addysg ddiwinyddol, wrth i gyflwynwyr godi safbwyntiau de-drefedigaethol ac \u00f4l-drefedigaethol newydd a oedd yn cyfateb i arloesedd a sensitifrwydd diwylliannol yr ysgol yr oeddem yn cwrdd ynddi.

Aeth Mercher \u00e2’r ddirprwyaeth i Ganolfan Ymchwil Tulana, dan arweiniad y Tad Aloy Pieris, arloeswr mewn Diwinyddiaeth Rhyddid Asiaidd. Rhannodd y Tad Aloy Pieris, ysbrydoliaeth i lawer yn yr ystafell, <\/span>am sut mae ei ddiwinyddiaeth wedi cael ei herio a’i drawsnewid gan gyfarfyddiadau a deialogau \u00e2 mynachod Bwdhaidd. Roedd yn ddiddorol archwilio a dychmygu sut mae pobl o grefyddau eraill (neu ddim) yn gweld yr Ysgrythur, a beth all hyn ddatgelu neu ein dysgu <\/span>.<\/span><\/p>\n

Ddydd Iau, roedd y cyflwyniadau terfynol yn cynnwys cyfraniadau gan gynrychiolwyr ar-lein yn Ghana, Ynysoedd y Philipinau, a Fiji. Yna daeth yr wythnos i ben gyda gwasanaeth Cymun a gynhaliwyd o dan goeden Banyan ar dir yr Eglwys Gadeiriol. Daeth hyn \u00e2’r wythnos i ddiwedd myfyriol a symbolaidd – “FeAST” ym mhob ystyr o’r gair. <\/span><\/p>\n
