Global Response to Day of Prayer

34 provinces across the Anglican Communion have contributed to USPG’s Communion Day of Prayer.

Having generously produced prayer, worship and music contributions to the Day of Prayer, churches across the Communion are also encouraging their members to get involved on 30 November. Obispo Maximo Rhee Timbang of the Iglesia Filipina Independiente and Bishop Pushpa Lalitha from the Church of South India have sent pastoral letters to their congregations detailing how to participate in the event. Churches in the Diocese of Colombo, Church of Ceylon, have organised all-day watch parties for the Communion Day of Prayer.

To find out more about how you can get involved in the event, visit https://www.uspg.org.uk/day-of-prayer or download this information sheet.

USPG has also produced prayer responses and a collect for the Day of Prayer, which you can find here.

Links to the Zoom call and Facebook Live, which will both run from midnight on 29 November to midnight on 30 November, are below.
